Xavi Simons: Dutch Wonderkid Makes His Mark
From Ajax to PSG to Leipzig, Simons' Journey Continues
Dutch sensation Xavi Simons has established himself as one of Europe's most promising young talents. Born in Amsterdam on April 21, 2003, Simons began his footballing journey at the age of 6 with local club Amstelveen Heemraad. His talent quickly became apparent, and in 2010, he joined the prestigious Ajax academy.
During his time at Ajax, Simons showcased his exceptional skills and creativity, earning a reputation as a prodigious attacking midfielder. In 2019, at the age of 16, he signed a three-year deal with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, where he spent the next three seasons, making 10 appearances and scoring one goal.
In 2022, Simons joined German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig on a free transfer.
